William L. Leyborne and William Young proclamations, 1771-1776.

William L. Leyborne was the Captain General and Governor in Chief of the islands of Grenada, the Grenadines, St. Vincent, and Tobago. He was succeeded by William Young. This collections contains proclamations issued by Leyborne (1771-1775) and Young (1775-1776) relating to appointments, commissions, warrants for court martial, and the treatment of Negro slaves.
